About me
Hello, my name is Mª Ines Ugarte, I am an plastic artist, Chilean, living in Sao Paulo-Brazil.
In 1997 I began to discover this exciting, vibrant and challenging path of art.
On this trip I have explored different techniques, such as oil, acrylic, watercolor, mixed techniques and high temperature ceramics, allowing creativity and spontaneity to flourish in each of my works.

I have lived in different parts of the world, which has allowed me to publicize my work and hold exhibitions for a varied audience, receiving from them the energy and affection to continue advancing in this fascinating world of art.

My inspiration
My works are born from the admiration and observation by the feminine nature in its entire spectrum. Sensitivity, movement, color and fluidity, its passions, its secrets and its truths, inspire each of the brush strokes of my portraits.

Along this path I have learned to recognize beauty in different ethnicities, colors, and cultures. I have explored the application of different materials and elements, to achieve new textures, intervening with their varied sizes and shapes.

In the vibrant colors of my works lies the intensity, the vividness of nature, water, leaves, flowers and sunlight, in addition to some trivial elements that write a story, inspiring and thus allowing birth, the development and appearance of each of these authentic portraits.
